Badminton Asia President Mr Kim Jong Soo today praised the organisers of the Hangzhou Asian Games badminton competition. Following the conclusion of the event, Mr Kim congratulated the Chinese BA and HAGOC and said they had delivered an exceptional event.
“The organisers were well prepared and this ensured the smooth-running and outstanding management of the entire badminton competition including off the court. The facilities were excellent and this included the training arena,” Mr Kim said.
He added that after speaking to officials and players from the various teams, the feedback had been positive. “The players and officials were always well taken care of and we must thank all those involved including the staff and the very helpful volunteers.”
Mr Kim expressed his thanks and appreciation to Chinese Badminton Association President, Mr Zhang Jun, for his advice and support which contributed extensively to the success of the Asian Games badminton competition.
“On behalf of Badminton Asia, I congratulate all the winners and the medalists in the various categories including the team competition. The competition was highly competitive and fan were fortunate to watch the world’s best in action in this Asian Games.”
