Gold for Badminton Asia!
It is a historical night for Badminton Asia, in winning the Gold Award in Best Sports Youth Programme of the Year category in the Sports Industry Awards (SPIA ) Asia 2016.
The award was presented at the Gala dinner held in Bangkok, Thailand. Badminton Asia Chief Operating Officer (COO) Kenny Goh was present to receive the honour. Badminton Asia was nominated as one of the eight finalist for this coveted award.
This demonstrates that our development programme stands tall with the recognition of its visionary outlook, a robust framework with practical implementation.
With this award, Badminton Asia hopes to build a stronger bond with all our members and together we stand united and connected in upbringing all member association into a level playing field of the sport.
SPIA Asia 2016 recognizes and celebrates the achievements made by the sporting industry in Asia which has become a premier destination for large- scale of local and international events and competitions with year - on year increase in frequency, size and spending.
SPIA has already become the currency for recognizing excellence within the sports industry in Asia and our event will award prizes in 19 distinct with winners coming from 17 eligible to participate countries.
