Recently Badminton Asia had Regional Umpires Course (South East & East Asia) in Osaka, Japan. The event took place on 25th March until 3rd April 2017.
The umpire course was attended by 11 umpires from 8 various countries. The assessors from Malaysia -Ms. Yau Lin Na & Mr. Chen Chih Shen from Chinese Taipei. Below are the 8 countries that participated:

The purpose of this umpires course is to select the potential candidates for Badminton Asia accredited umpires. This is also to help an individual to develop personal and professional in a given context. Thus, this umpires course will enable the acquisition of skills, knowledge and understanding through which people renew their abilities and maximize their impact.
This principal of training approach not only on mentoring and the principalities, it also to build a good rapport as they are vital to keep professional relationships healthy and sustainable. We hope the course has been useful and interesting.
