The city of Uralsk in Kazakhstan is abuzz with badminton in conjunction with the Condensate Apacs Kazakhstan International Series 2019 which will be held from Nov 6-10 – attracting several overseas participants in the USD10,000 tournament.
At the same time – thanks to Badminton Asia – the Asian badminton body, is holding a National Umpires Training Course in this northwestern city in Kazakhstan.
The course which has attracted 15 candidates – all from Kazakhstan – began on Nov 4 (Monday) and will end on Nov 10.
The venue for the umpires course is the Universal Gym TOO "TH Nafta" and is conducted by Mr. Sudhakar Vemuri from India.
