Malaysia marched into two finals – in the men's U17 & and U15 doubles – in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Mandalay, Myanmar on Saturday night.
The men's doubles pairing of Demond Anthony Samin-Wan Muhammad Arif ShaharuWan Mohd Junaidi booked their place in the final with a 21-12, 21-19 win over Thailand's Narut Saengkham-Pannawat Theerapanitnun.
In the final, on Sunday the Malaysians are up against number one seeds Wei Chun We-Wu Guan Xun of Chinese Taipei – 21-13, 21-13 winners over another Thai pair Tanadon Punpanich-Sirawit Sothon.

The women's doubles final will be an-all Thailand affair in the Under-17 category with both the top two seeds advancing to the gold medal match.

The Indians romped to an easy 21-12, 21-9 victory against Thailand's Puttita Phanthui-Prawanrat Srikhao while the Koreans went through the full distance for a 21-16, 19-21, 21-17 score against Japan's Hina Akechi-Sora Ishioka.
