Indonesia’s Putri Kusuma Wardani overcame fierce rival Han Qian Xi from China to win the Women’s Singles crown of the Korea Masters 2024 at the At Iksan Gymnasium in South Korea.
Second-seeded Putri Kusuma overcame Qian Xi 21-14, 21-14 in 39 minutes for her first Super300 BWF World Tour title, marking the 22-year-old as the first Indonesia Women’s Singles champion at the Korea Masters.
China’s hope for a win in the Men’s Singles was also denied when Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn, who ended his long title drought by beating Wang Zheng Xing in the final.
The 23-year-old Thai, whose last title romp was at the Thailand Open last year, did not lose focus to beat Zheng Xing 21-18, 21-18.

It was Aaron-Wooi Yik’s only second BWF World Tour title after winning the Denmark Open last year.
