Chinese pairs have largely dominated since 2019, and defending champions Liu Shengshu/Tan Ning will look to continue that trend following their All England success.

However, close rivals Baek Ha-na/Lee So-hee remain strong contenders. Both pairs are in the same half of the draw and could meet in what could be a blockbuster semifinal.

Malaysia’s second seed Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan will be aiming to make history as the country’s first women’s doubles champions. Recent strong performances, including a title at the Indonesia Masters and a semifinal finish at the All England, should boost their confidence.

They could face stiff competition from Jia Yi Fan/ Zhang Shuxian or Japan’s Yuki Fukushima / Mayu Matsumoto in the latter stages.
