A rare opportunity given to students from Dawan Middle School to interact and play some strokes with world class legends. The legendary icons of Hendra Setiawan, Cai Yun, Wang Yihan and Jiang Yanjiao did a stopover at the middle school to have a meet-and-greet session with 50 very lucky students. The students and even teachers get to play some badminton games, having photo sessions and even advise on badminton from these players.
Also present is Badminton Asia Chair of Events, Bambang Roedyanto in support of such social activities
This is part of a complementing activity gearing towards the start of the pilot Badminton Asia Elite Tour 2017, which will assemble top players including Lee Chong Wei, Hendra Setiawan, Kenichi Tago, Yip Pui Yin and from the local scene Cai Yun, Wang Yihan, Jiang Yanjiao and others. Starting from 10th to 12th November, badminton fans will able to witness high performance matches of the legends and also amateur player pitting against these professionals
