Arisa Higashino is a Japanese badminton player. She was born on August 1st, 1996. She made her debut by participating in the Asian Junior Championships. Higashino plays for the women's doubles as well as mixed doubles category. In the women’s doubles category she is often paired with Yuki Fukushima, while in the mixed doubles category paired with Yuta Watanabe. During the Asian Junior Championship, she successfully snatched the bronze medal in the mixed team back in 2013 and 2014. Considering that this was Higashino’s debut, it is fair to say that she is among one of the most talented badminton players of all time.
Back in 2018, Higashino also won the Super 1000 tournament with her mixed doubles partner Yuta Watanabe at the 2018 All England Open. It is worth noting that Arisa Higashino/Yuta Watanabe is now ranked third in the world in the mixed doubles category and as for the women's doubles she held 141st position in the world. However, Higashino often gets more achievements in the mixed doubles sector with Yuta Watanabe than in the women’s doubles.
